Pentagram is formed in Santiago in the mid 80's, in the midst of a difficult scene, as the country lived under a repressive regime, which was, in turn, synonymous with resistance and rabid artistic creation. Soon, Pentagram began to be cited as an influence for death metal bands with worldwide recognition. In the diversity of styles that converge in this tribute album we attempt to recognize Pentagram as an cultural phenomenon, a radical artistic gesture, a turning point and milestone for the Chilean musical scene, even when considering its purely plastic/theatrical possibilities. All participants in this project were required to present free, personal versions of both tracks in Pentagram's 1987 self- titled single: Fatal Predictions and Demoniac Possession.
