The album “They All Live Far Away” is a compliation of music from contemporary artists and musicians expatriates. Mastered by Carlos Cabezas, the selection of tracks was made by Hoffmann’s House as part of the exhibition “Santiago Toolbar” at La Capella, Barcelona, in 2008. The exhibition featured a sculpture piece made of thousands of tree branches tied together, crossing the exhibition space in mid-air. Headphones dangle from the branches playing the sounds from the record and field recordings of sparrows. Along with the sculpture, the exhibition also included video works by Cristobal Lehyt on monitors and beamers.
